Website extremely loading slow

Since a few weeks I have this problem: my web page is loading extremely slow though it's not really full of pictures.
Any help?

Try an mp4 Video with minimum fps in a loop instead of a GIF.
You can get sizes down to 500kb with your video Instead of 2mb

And that's the only thing I found because I'm no expert. But happy if I could help.

Yes there is some slow loading - do the images need to be over 5100 px wide? is it possible to reduce them first?
