floating counter numbers + text in carrousel gallery

I would like to know if it is possible to have a floating counter numbers instead of arrows, to move through the carrousel gallery.

Additionally to this, I would like to know if it is possible to add some text to the counter like in here: https://www.jackdavison.co.uk/recent-04

hey its a great idea, you would need to code this by yourself thats a little difficult
