Website completely crashes after update

Hi,
I updated the Lay theme and it caused a critical error on my WordPress site. I lost access to my WordPress dashboard entirely. I followed this page https://laytheme.com/troubleshooting.html#critical-error but the Appearance menu does not exist in wp-admin. I uplaoded the new zip lay to wp-content instead. Now I'm back to not having access to my WP panel at all.I am not techi and I'm really lost. website is juliegrosche.com
Any quick help appreciated.

I see here that your admin panel is password protected, but not with the normal WordPress password screen?
But with a different one that's called an .htaccess pw protection.This is very unusual.
