mouseover on mobile not working

safari, chrome, firefox on iOShi! the mouseover for video thumbnails seems to not work on mobile.
i set thumbnail settings "Behaviour on Mobile Devices" to "Always show mouseover state" so i would assume the videos play looping all the time?
but instead i have just a white blank space. also all the other options do not work correctly.thanks in advance.

hey, so you don't have any mouse over images
That setting you're talking about is for mouseover images for thumbnails.
For me, the videos show up on my iphone.
When iPhones are set to low power mode, then they don't play videos. Maybe your iPhone was on low power mode?im on safari iphone and you?

hey sorry, was super busy with a website launch these days. let me check!

hmm seems to be an issue with lay themes caching. i will code a fix for this for the next update. meanwhile you can try and turn off "layout cache" in lay options. and see if it works then.
if after the next update, it still wont work please send your /wp-admin/ login info and a link to this topic to info@laytheme.com and then i will check it out more

alright, i will release the new update that may fix this today or tomorrow, then if it wont work u can send me the mail and then i'll try to be faster!
-
ok can u update now and check?

thanks a lot! works well so far in my case. but i think the overall time to load the thumbnails a first time got way worse now.
whats still not working i think are the different functionalities "Behaviour on Mobile Devices". at least on my site its always just playing the thumbnail videos immediately, but for me thats fine.

alright i will analyze this more

in Lay Options, can you please enable video lazy loading and then also make sure the setting is enabled where it makes videos also lazy load on Safari?
For the next update, I'm preparing the functionality where the mouseover videos will also be lazy loaded when those settings are on.
Also, I will fix an issue where videos sometimes would be requested over HTTP instead of HTTPS on your site.
Then we will take a look and see how much loading has improved.
And then afterwards, we could think about using Bunny CDN, using videos hosted there, and also using HLS, which would load smaller videos for smaller screen sizes.
And Bunny CDN will, in general, load videos faster too because of their servers. -

ok now u can check!
released the update yesterday
