duplicating a project, > click update and returns to homepage

on duplicating a project to use the template and trying to update the text and images the page goes to home page (link above) and none of updates are made.

have updated theme and have latest wordpress updated

any help much appreciated

i think it may be this:

for me it works. it may be because of some security settings of your webserver
