password protection not working
-
Hi Armin,
I tried to set a page to password protected or to draft but both doesn't work. I cleared the cache and also checked the page in incognito mode. Any idea? Lay theme is up to date.

hey, i checked kristinbethge.com/print/ — that url is a woocommerce product archive (body classes: post-type-archive-product, woocommerce-shop), not a regular wordpress page.
wps password protection and draft status only apply to individual posts/pages, they dont work on auto-generated archive urls.
so setting the "print" page to draft/protected probably doesnt affect the /print/ url because the archive rewrites to it regardless.
options: 1. if "print" should be a real page instead of a wc archive, you'll need to restructure — either change the wc shop base or delete the /print/ page and rename the archive.
OR rename the page /print to sth else, like change the permalink

okay. Thanks @arminunruh !
