large Lay Theme transients causing critical autoload issue
-
WordPress Site Health reports a critical issue because my site has several large autoloaded options. The biggest entries are Lay Theme transients such as transientlaylayoutmastercache and transientlaylayoutprojectoverlay, together accounting for more than 3 MB.
Is this expected behaviour in Lay Theme, and can these caches be stored without autoloading them on every request?

Hey there! Those are not loaded with every request, no.
Actually, those make your site load faster because once your site is loaded, this cache is then loaded in afterwards and the Gridder jsons, so the Gridder data of the cached pages, is then put into JavaScript memory.
This will make the site navigation near-instant, as long as ajax is used.
Only if your site has AJAX enabled. Otherwise, this won't load at all, as it's not needed.
