can't access media library from a project

hi there!
im just setting up the theme in wordpress following the instructions from the video til i had the following problem:
If i want to upload an image into a project or set the project thumbnail, the media library pops up but is just blank...
I checked the media library and there are some pictures I uploaded, so its not empty.
Also the problem appears with googlechrome and safar...Any Ideas???

Ok should have read more carefully through through the posts.... as @valentingienger already has had the same problem, turning of jetpack also worked for me :))... sorry for bothering!

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
This often solves issues you might run into
When you post:
- Post a link to where the problem is
- Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
- If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
