Carousel caption text (regular weight) appears bold?

Hello,

I have a question about carousel captions appearing bold.

You can see here (more clearly on Safari) that the text on the top left is regular Times and the caption text is the same, however it looks bold. Is there some kind of overlapping happening here? I have "show captions" checked for options on the carousel add-on feature and captions input manually for each image in the carousel. Any help here would be great, thanks!

No, I'm not using the "project" feature. Just images in a carousel. Like this: image url)

Problem seems to have changed once I switched to a different font... It was acting strange when I was using times. Cheers!
