Video as project thumbnail in carousel

Hi there,

I am building a carousel with project thumbnails which are meant to be both image thumbnails and autoplaying video thumbnails. I have assigned a video thumbnail to one of the projects in addition to the obligatory thumbnail image. However, when building the carousel, I can't select the video thumbnail – I can only use the static image. Or, alternatively, include only the video itself in the carousel – however, I want it to link to a project.

How can I achieve a carousel made from both image and video that each link to a project?

you can not really place links within the carousel.
Because the carousel needs to be clickable as well.

You could try to cheat with a textbox and give the element inside a link.
