Image flashes in during page change

Hi there Lay Theme community!
I just realised a weird behaviour which happens during trasitions from one page to another right here:
When I’m inside a project and click on the logo in the left or Work on the right and transition back to the frontpage theres always a big image flashing for a very brief moment before the project-grid is shown.
This seems to happen with Chrome as well as Safari. Would be super cool if you could have a look. and check why this happens.

Do you have everything up-to-date?
Wordpress, Plugins, Laytheme. -
Do you have any third-party plugins installed or CUSTOM JS code? Is it possible to deactivate it for a moment to see if the problem remains?

- Yes! All is up to date!
- Looks like it’s my jQuery… will have to have a look into this. Hope I will get this to work…
