Next project link not directing as documented

Hi all,
i just found another bug. I am using custom next project links in a custom project footer. I setup like documented here:
https://laytheme.com/documentation/navigation-between-projects.html#next-project-link

But a click on that link doesnt do anything. Tested with latest firefox and chrome.
