Button styles in menu bar

Hello, I want to customize my menu a bit more and want to use buttonstyles for this. Is there a way to add a button in the menu bar instead of creating a new menu point under "Design/Menues"? Or can I customize the appearance of the links in my menu bar with CSS?

you can customize your menu points with the CUSTOM CSS.

For example like here:

.primary li {
    border: yellow solid 2px;
    padding: 5px;
    border-radius: 10px;
}
