Hey kim! In case your customize settings get lost when you move your site please take a look at "I imported my database and my “Customize” settings are lost" here:

Dear Armin,
just a quick question.
i exported my localhost Wp with WP Migrate DB.
Now I have 5 Folders. Which file should be changed, as you described it here:
http://laytheme.com/documentation.html#moving-websiteAnd where can I find any of this code:
"Please open the database that you exported with "Migrate DB" with your favourite texteditor. You might need to unzip it before.
Search for the word "theme_mods_lay". You should find a textline that looks something like this: (128, 'theme_mods_lay', …
This line of text contains all Customize settings. Search for the word "pa_icon" and find some text that looks like: "pa_icon";s:4:"🔵";.
Replace this with "pa_icon";s:0:""; and save your file. Now when you re-import your database your Customize settings should be intact.**
///
Thats the code what i found in the wordpress-migrate-20160825111843.sql file
(1018, 'theme_mods_lay', 'a:82:{i:0;b:0;s:18:"nav_menu_locations";a:1:{s:7:"primary";i:12;}s:11:"navbar_hide";b:1;s:12:"navbar_color";s:7:"#ffffff";s:14:"navbar_opacity";s:3:"100";s:18:"navbar_show_border";b:1;s:18:"navmouseover_color";s:7:"#000000";s:15:"nav_arrangement";s:10:"horizontal";s:12:"nav_position";s:9:"top-right";s:14:"nav_textformat";s:0:"";s:14:"nav_fontfamily";s:27:"times new roman,times,serif";s:12:"nav_fontsize";s:2:"22";s:14:"nav_fontweight";s:3:"100";s:17:"nav_letterspacing";s:4:"0.08";s:17:"hide_primary_menu";b:0;s:16:"nav_spaceleft_mu";s:1:"%";s:13:"nav_spaceleft";s:1:"0";s:16:"nav_spacebetween";s:2:"25";s:15:"nav_fontsize_mu";s:2:"px";s:9:"nav_color";s:7:"#000000";s:25:"nav_underline_strokewidth";s:1:"0";s:13:"nav_textalign";s:6:"center";s:11:"nav_isfixed";b:1;s:7:"st_hide";b:0;s:13:"st_txt_or_img";s:4:"text";s:8:"st_image";s:0:"";s:15:"st_img_width_mu";s:1:"%";s:12:"st_img_width";s:3:"2.5";s:10:"st_isfixed";b:1;s:11:"st_spacetop";s:3:"2.5";s:15:"st_spaceleft_mu";s:1:"%";s:12:"st_spaceleft";s:3:"2.5";s:13:"pt_visibility";s:17:"show-on-mouseover";s:11:"pt_position";s:11:"below-image";s:13:"pt_textformat";s:0:"";s:13:"pt_fontfamily";s:24:"'Montserrat', sans-serif";s:11:"pt_fontsize";s:3:"1.2";s:8:"pt_color";s:7:"#191919";s:16:"pt_letterspacing";s:4:"0.38";s:10:"pt_opacity";s:3:"100";s:13:"pt_fontweight";s:3:"700";s:11:"pt_spacetop";s:1:"5";s:8:"pt_align";s:4:"left";s:16:"fi_mo_show_color";b:0;s:22:"fi_mo_background_color";s:7:"#ffffff";s:13:"fi_mo_do_zoom";s:4:"none";s:13:"fi_mo_do_blur";b:0;s:15:"fi_animate_blur";b:0;s:11:"pd_position";s:11:"below-image";s:13:"pd_visibility";s:17:"show-on-mouseover";s:21:"pd_animate_visibility";b:1;s:19:"stmouseover_opacity";s:3:"100";s:16:"mobile_hide_menu";b:0;s:19:"fi_mo_color_opacity";s:3:"100";s:16:"fi_animate_color";b:0;s:7:"pa_type";s:4:"text";s:7****:"pa_icon";s:3:"〉"****;s:14:"st_spacetop_mu";s:2:"vw";s:13:"st_textformat";s:0:"";s:13:"st_fontfamily";s:14:"GT-Haptik-Bold";s:14:"st_fontsize_mu";s:2:"px";s:13:"st_fontweight";s:3:"500";s:14:"pt_fontsize_mu";s:2:"vw";s:34:"navmouseover_underline_strokewidth";s:1:"2";s:31:"navactive_underline_strokewidth";s:1:"2";s:10:"link_color";s:7:"#000000";s:26:"link_underline_strokewidth";s:1:"0";s:32:"link_hover_underline_strokewidth";s:3:"2.5";s:16:"link_hover_color";s:7:"#000000";s:12:"nav_spacetop";s:3:"2.5";s:14:"nav_spaceright";s:3:"2.5";s:17:"nav_spaceright_mu";s:1:"%";s:16:"st_letterspacing";s:4:"0.18";s:14:"frontpage_type";s:4:"page";s:21:"frontpage_select_page";s:3:"316";s:24:"st_underline_strokewidth";s:1:"0";s:15:"nav_spacetop_mu";s:2:"vw";s:18:"nav_spacebottom_mu";s:2:"vw";s:16:"navbar_height_mu";s:2:"px";s:13:"navbar_height";s:2:"60";s:22:"mobile_space_leftright";s:3:"2.5";s:16:"mobile_space_top";s:3:"2.5";}', 'yes'),

Hey kim!
When exporting with migrate db, afaik you only export 1 file which is a gzipped sql file. Or just a sql file.
Should look like this:
db2597341-migrate-20160827085604.sql
or
db2597341-migrate-20160825173231.sql.gzThis line of text contains all Customize settings. Search for the word "pa_icon" and find some text that looks like: "pa…
What you are referring to here only applies if everything worked but your customize settings are lost after you imported the database. Actually this is a pretty rare case, but I had this problem once.
