New Lay Theme website while existing website still active
-
Hi,
We're trying to create a new website hosted with DreamHost that will replace our existing website. We want to build the new website with Lay Theme and test it. And when ready (not before) we will then point our existing domain at the new website. How do we do this?

Dear @ryanbartaby
you set up Wordpress and layTheme under a subdomain. Once the website is ready you point the domain to that folder. Best is to ask Dreamhost for this. Always be sure :-)Best!

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
This often solves issues you might run into
When you post:
