Project thumbnail mouseover state on ipad

Hi,
just noticed a strange behavior: "Show mouseover state on tap, tap again to enter project" works great on my iPad, but does not work on my iPad Pro. On the iPad Pro it's the same as on mobile - first tap makes mouseover flick briefly and enter project immediately.
What can I do to make double tap work on the iPad Pro?

In the CUSTOMIZER you can make different settings for desktop, ipad and phone

I clicked "Show mouseover state on tap, tap again to enter project" for all devices in the customizer (which in my case does NOT allow different settings for different devices for the mouseouver state).
