Hi @arminunruh I'm trying to use Popupmaker right now and have some problems.
Is it possible that LAY theme makes problems with the Popup Maker extension or no?

Hey, lay theme is not compatible with many WordPress plugins because it's programmed very differently than a regular WordPress theme :/
The whole frontend is basically just a single page javascript application with backbone js and most wordpress plugins are made for standard php frontends. -

The whole frontend is basically just a single page javascript application with backbone js and most wordpress plugins are made for standard php frontends.@arminunruh Everything works to be honest except the "text area" (where I put the content of my popup), in the frontend.

Hi I just came across the same "old" problem actually . Apparently the conflict when using popup maker with laytheme still exists. After testing several popup plugins I eventually found one that works just fine with laytheme. So anyone using laytheme and looking for a popup plugin, I can recommend this:
