Theme broke: Stylesheet is missing after updating

My site is gone after the last update. I can't find any Lay Theme controls in Wordpress anymore and when going to the theme it shows an error: “Stylesheet is missing." / Version: false. How can I fix this?

can you just download the latest version:
https://kernl.us/api/v2/public/temporary-download/6380e9fd13cfd6c2103751f8and then upload it, like you would install the theme normally:
step3 https://laytheme.com/installation.html -
your website should just show up like before no content should be missing

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
This often solves issues you might run into
When you post:
- Post a link to where the problem is
- Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
- If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
