Hidden images in lightbox

Is it possible to use lightbox and when selected it accesses more images than what are previewed on the page. Example lets say you have 3 images on a page but when you select lightbox you get to see 12 images? Does this make sense?
The Modern House is a real estate website; their property pages are a great example of this; take a look.

Any help would be much appreciated, this is my site page where I want to implement the update:

Thank you,
