Yoast and Rank Math do not recognize internal or external links

Hi,

I’ve tried both Yoast and Rank Math, but neither plugin recognizes internal or external links in my pages and projects. Is there a known solution for this?

when i enter a url i dont see a section for links

links are just <a href="…">
anchor tags.

all lay theme websites have anchor tags on them for links, not sure why they wouldn't get recognized
