My site is a bit slow....

Hi there, I'm making a site for an artist and it seems a little slow - projects and pages take more than a few seconds sometimes to load. There is not a huuuge a amount of content and images are set to lazyload. Would something like the WP super cache plugin help with this do you think? (Would it even work with lay?)
