Changing Sitetitle-Images on moseover/hover/transition

Hi, I would like to make the sitetitle-image change to another one while hovering/ moseover (including possibility to all adjustments as for the sitetitle-image, e.g.: position, opacity etc.).
Has anyone experience with this, or uses some custom CSS lines to do this already?

You need to do this by jQuery.

With CSS it will be a mess.
