MOBILE: Replace Burger Menu with Menu Items on Mobile Bar

Hello!
Looking for CSS/JS ideas to replace the burger menu with menu items directly in the menu bar on mobile. I have small Fontawesome icons as menu items (with overlays), so no need for the large burger menu.
Is there a way to position these menu items in the menu bar next to .sitetitle in Lay?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

customize → mobile → mobile menu → menu style: desktop menu style

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
