Menu highlight (white border) not working with anchor links

Hey folks,

I’m having an issue with my menu design.

I recently switched everything to anchor links, and since then the white border (highlight) in the menu is no longer working. Before, it would nicely indicate the menu item I had selected.

Now, with anchor links, this visual feedback seems to be gone.
What do I need to do to make the white border highlight work again with anchor links?

It was already activated, but it doesn’t have the same effect as before (when each menu item linked to a separate page — now everything uses anchor links).
