Language switcher in the footer with shortcode

Is posible change the properties and functionality of the language switcher added with shortcode? for example add a dropdown functionality.

hey, no, it's not possible so you would like to have a dropdown? I don't know, maybe you could even try to create a submenu and then just put the language switcher inside of the submenu. In the Lay Theme documentation, you can see how to build a submenu. Actually, I never tried that, but it just comes to mind now.
