Thumbnail drop shadows

I want my project thumbnails to have a drop shadow, but NOT other images on the site. How do I differentiate between them? I have a drop shadow in the "Lay Options" > "Custom CSS & HTML" for .thumb-rel, but this seems to effect ALL images on the entire site.
