hover image center fixed position aligned to the right

Hi there,
I need some help on setting up a mouser hover img with a new position, on a menu list style (with links), in here: https://rubensantiago.net/work/
i tryed to work the custom css to set new position for all the images in the hover state, like this:

/menu hover position/
.lay-imagehover-region{
position: fixed ;
margin-right: 40px;

But wasn't successful.
I checked around the forum and found some solutions like the one i'm using, but looks like it doesn't work, i'm afraid i could have mixed code somewhere?

@_peneda_ Hey, idk why but the margin-right function doesn't work in this addon. I used instead margni-left and a negative value to fake that it's coming from the right.

like this:

margin-left: -40px;
