picture do not appear in front-page??

Hello hello,
maybe someone can help me :)
When I upload photos and add them to a page they don't appear on the page when loaded. The photos upload to the media library without any problem, and appear in the gridder and update OK – but do not load when refreshing the web page.
There is a photo of the backend and the frontend attached.
Its probably a similar problem as here: http://laythemeforum.com/topic/5127/images-not-showing
My webhost is DreamHost.
I would be very glad knows what to do.

Could you please make sure of the following for testing 🌝
Wordpress, Lay Theme & Laytheme's Addons are all up to date ?
Any custom CSS or JS that may interfere is temporarily removed.
Any third-party plugins are de-activated to see if this resolves the issue. (most -likely)
