SEO Tools for Lay Theme

Hi,
I tried to optimize my new website, and wanted to use Yoast with the LAY theme. It couldn't read my text. Just found out it's an "old error" --- nothing changed for ages. So I gave up on Yoast.

Any suggestions for other SEO tools I can use, which work with the LAY theme?

its not an error, yoast just cant read the text elements of lay theme cause yoast wasn't coded to like read the texts of lay theme

other than that you can still use yoast

maybe read a seo book to find out what seo is about.
its a lot about content i think
