Intro video skip button & youtube embedding/ bandwith?

hi,
is it possible to add a skip button to the intro video?
also for visitors with lower bandwith would be nice to implement a youtube video as intro video, so its automatically adjusts the quality accordingly to the available bandwith. Or are there any other solutions?

when you click on the intro it should hide

im not sure too many people would use that feature with a youtube video
