you need to use javascript to do that :|
i don't really have time to code that js for you at the momenti think i wont include this as a feature cause its a lot of work and im not sure many people would use it

basically you need to use

https://api.jquery.com/mouseleave/
and then
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/4780670/how-to-set-background-color-in-jquery
and then bind the mouseenter and mouseleave in a delegated way:
