I was wondering if theres a solution for embedding multiple mp4 videos and play them in an order.
idea behind: to reduce loading times i see some other website have a background / intro video split in e.g. 5x4mb videos and play them in a row.
it would be cool to make that possible.
also: i really love the hove addon / half background option, i was wondering if that could be a permanent option.

@arminunruh we did test logs on the server side. It seems like the browsers (sometimes) cache the videos in a wrong way.
server gets sometimes a 304 not modified
it really just happens on mobile.
by the way, how did you create those logs?
I could try to do it over a cdn.

I turned on lazya loading AND updated laytheme. It seems to me it still happens.
Do you think I need to scale the videos down even more and lower the bitrate?
@arminunruh they can give me access to m3u8 file, which is as far as I understand sth similar.

In short: On web project video thumbnails works great - on mobile project video thumbnails mostly dont load.

Actually I tried two things:
with lazyloading on, just the first checkbox
browser: firefox in inkognito tabs, so cache is empty
seems to me like it takes too long to load the data, so the browser decides to skip it?
if i load the same videos, just normally embedded there seems to be no problem. I did a testpage for that.

I have Vimeo Pro but their player is just so Slow that I decided to Switch to mux as Video Hoster.

hi these are my settings. this also just happens on mobile. so,etimes even when all videos are loaded, when i go back and forth between categories, some videothumbnails stay white.
should i use lazy loading?

the videos are mp4 h264 MAIN lvl 4.1 1.5mbit with 640px width resolution

It happens almost everytime that video previews are not loaded fully on mobile. Sometimes none of the videos are being loaded.
Is there a way to solve that or disable video project thumbnails completely?

I would love to use the intro video function on my website. To get the best quality for each client I would love use a video hosted on youtube or bunny.net. Alternatively I am also ok to render 3-4 different versions and let wordpress/ plugin select the correct version for the clients bandwith.

also for visitors with lower bandwith would be nice to implement a youtube video as intro video, so its automatically adjusts the quality accordingly to the available bandwith. Or are there any other solutions?
