Hi Johanna, I had same issue a couple of times. You first need to choose Fixed Height or Custom Aspect Ratio in the Carousel Size settings then the Multiple Slides option will appear in the slides settings.

maybe it would be cool to collect code snippets like this in the documentation section on the website, so they’re easier to find.

yes. that's a great website. the slider there works pretty well on mobile too.

Hi Armin, recently I’ve been seeing more portfolio sites like this one: https://lafour.com/work/rosalia-x-spotify

They use a carousel with a small thumbnail navigation, which gives a nice overview and makes it easier to jump between images. I think this could be a cool addition for the carousel — or even the fullscreen slider — in the future. What do you think?

Hi Armin, wouldn't it be great to have a "show numbers" option for the fullscreen slider, similar to the carousel addon? E.g. showing 1/7 in the bottom right corner when there are 7 slides. Optionally with a small caption per slide.

Yeah, I think that’s a good idea as well. Would be great to have an easy way to use italic type as a mouseover state.

Also nice would be a few built-in options like a text highlight or a subtle underline animation.

i wrote some css to make the overlay background transparent with a background blur. could be a nice option inside lay theme for the overlay?

the multiple slides setting in the carousel feels a bit hidden, as it only appears when carousel size is set to fixed height or custom aspect ratio. maybe there’s a way to make this more visible?

you can change the border radius for single images, but if you want rounded corners for all images you need custom css. maybe it would be great to have a general image border-radius option in the customizer.
