Password protected page/post

Hi Armin,
it seems you have disabled the wordpress feature to password protect a page/post.
Is there a way to enable it somehow? Some workaround? I would like to create a client area with a simple login.

Lay Theme doesn't support password protected posts. I might add that feature one day but it has low priority compared to other features that I want to work on. -

Hi kk87,
the new version of LayTheme is in development but we cannot promise that this feature will be a part of it in the very near future.
What you can do is to give those projects a different category and NOT show them in the normal menu.
By that they are not visible to the public but you can send a link around.
I hope that is an alternative for you.

@mariusjopen Thanks for your reply. How about google searchability then? The page is still visible from search results, no?

you are absolutely right. You might find it on a search engine.
But if you anyway only show it within a certain time. Lets say one or two weeks long. It won't matter too much.
But there is not a clean solution for this yet.
