Password protected page/post

Lay Theme doesn't support password protected posts. I might add that feature one day but it has low priority compared to other features that I want to work on.

Yeah would really really like this to be implemented. I have some private client projects that I'd like to put in my portfolio for interviews and stuff :). Do you know of any Wordpress plugins that will protect certain pages versus the entire site?

Hi Armin, any news on the development of password protected pages? I really need this feature since i can not share all projects on my site publicly but can share some behind a password..

Hi kk87,

the new version of LayTheme is in development but we cannot promise that this feature will be a part of it in the very near future.

What you can do is to give those projects a different category and NOT show them in the normal menu.

By that they are not visible to the public but you can send a link around.

I hope that is an alternative for you.

you are absolutely right. You might find it on a search engine.

But if you anyway only show it within a certain time. Lets say one or two weeks long. It won't matter too much.

But there is not a clean solution for this yet.
